As we come to the close of 2023 and look forward to spending time with our friends and family, the Zoetis Proud and Welcome (PAW) Colleague Resource Group (CRG) came together to celebrate our successes since our formation.  In 2020, Zoetis undertook a broadened DEI initiative which included expansion of our CRG platform to provide support and implementation of global talent initiatives to attract, develop, and retain a diverse team of colleagues while creating a diverse and inclusive environment where each colleague feels valued and cared for.  

The CRGs established during this initiative are:

  • ALIVE50+
  • Asians Rising Together
  • BELIEVERS
  • The Differently-abled Neurodiversity Alliance
  • LaZos
  • Proud and Welcome
  • WAVES
  • Zoetis Early Career Champions

Since our formation in October 2020, PAW has:

  • Grown to over 230 members globally, 60% of whom identify as allies
  • Established 4 site-based US chapters and 7 International chapters
  • Created programming that enables colleague interactions and direct engagement with our executive team such as:
    • Coffee with PAW
    • PAW Parents
    • PAW Movie Club
  • Driven Zoetis sponsorship and presence at various US based community Pride events
  • Successfully advocated for Zoetis becoming a signatory for the Gender Identity Bill of Rights

We are particularly proud that Zoetis has been recognized the past few years by the Human Rights Campaign as a Best Place to Work and was just recognized with a 2023-2024 Equality 100 Award CEI recipient as one of only 545 businesses that met all criteria to earn a score of 100 on the Corporate Equality Index.  This is an amazing achievement that underscores how important DEI and the LGBTQ+ colleague community is to our executive leaders.

Looking towards 2024, PAW is committed to continuing our momentum and will be adding additional structure and roles to our leadership team including a new role focused on Intersectionality Awareness to help more effectively engage with and amplify the programming that our peer CRGs within Zoetis are creating. Zoetis knows that our colleagues make the difference, and our differences make Zoetis stronger.
