Each year, through our partnership with Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, we honor a Boehringer Ingelheim colleague as a “Rising Star” or “Luminary” to support the advancement of women in health care. Nominations are based on our employees’ significant contribution to our company and to the pharmaceutical industry. This year’s honoree is Melissa Ortiz, Associate Director of NexGard Value Stream at our location in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico. She was chosen for her dedication to her team as a fearless leader, role model, and team player.
