Brought to you by PrideVMC Diamond Partner Zoetis

PrideVMC Diamond Partner Zoetis is thrilled to announce two recent recognitions of their diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture.

Zoetis recently received a score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2023-2024 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality. The company joins the ranks of over 545 major U.S. businesses that also earned top marks this year. This is the third consecutive year Zoetis was recognized as a top LGBTQ+ employer.

Zoetis programs & policies for their LGBTQ+ colleagues include:

  • Expanded parental leave for all new parents in the U.S., including for adoptions, fathers and same sex partners;
  • Pride at Work (PAW) CRG, dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ colleagues and allies;
  • U.S. benefits that support our colleagues, including enhanced gender transition benefits and supportive workplace gender transition guidelines, surrogacy and adoption benefits; and
  • Internal education programs focused on ensuring an inclusive work environment.

Zoetis was also selected as a 2024 Catalyst Award recipient for their global initiativeAwareness and Action Drives Impact, that is advancing equity for women and other underrepresented groups across the company — from the frontlines to senior leadership. Zoetis is one of only two organizations receiving this global award and is the first animal health company to be recognized.

Highlights that Catalyst featured as part of Zoetis’ recognition include:

  • Frontline colleague inclusion: Women hold key leadership roles across Zoetis’ two primary frontline functions of manufacturing and sales, and career ladders and paths are available to all frontline colleagues. Everyone has access to an individualized development plan and support.
  • Colleague Resource Groups (CRGs) are an important catalyst to foster a diverse, inclusive environment at Zoetis, while positively impacting the company’s business and community. The CRGs bring together colleagues who share similar backgrounds, experiences, and interests to work toward common goals that align with Zoetis’ strategic business priorities. CRGs also play a tremendous role in helping leadership understand the obstacles that different groups face, while promoting allyship and generating ideas for solutions.
  • Talent processes, both external-facing and internal-facing, have a powerful impact on representation and inclusion at Zoetis.

Zoetis participated in a rigorous examination by Catalyst of the company’s talent, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives requiring the company to show proven, measurable results that benefit women across a range of dimensions. This was followed by intensive on-site interviews to hear directly from colleagues about their experiences at Zoetis as a result of the multi-year, multi-faceted global initiative.

Zoetis is honored to receive these awards that recognize their DE&I initiatives to drive equity and belonging, and proud to continue building a welcoming workplace in the animal health industry. To learn more about career opportunities at Zoetis, visit www.zoetis.com/careers.
