PrideVMC Announces 2021 Leadership Award Winner
PrideVMC is excited to announce Lisa M. Greenhill, MPA, EdD, Senior Director for Institutional Research and Diversity for the American Association of Veterinary Medical Colleges (AAVMC), as the 2021 recipient of the PrideVMC Leadership Award. This award recognizes folks who actively support PrideVMC’s mission to create a better world for the LGBTQ+ veterinary community and vision of an empowered LGBTQ+ veterinary community that embraces wellbeing by being their authentic selves.
PrideVMC President Dr. Dane Whitaker shares, “Dr. Greenhill has been and continues to be an inspiration for all of us at PrideVMC. Her leadership on DEI issues in veterinary medicine and particularly issues that affect LGBTQ+ individuals in our profession is invaluable. We are so honored to continue this important work with her and look forward to further collaboration on advancing PrideVMC’s mission and vision. Thank you so much, Dr. Greenhill, for everything that you do!”
Upon learning she was the recipient of the 2021 Leadership Award Dr. Greenhill shared, “I am humbled and filled with gratitude by this recognition from PrideVMC. There continues to be so much to be done in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion for the LGBTQIA+ populations; I look forward to continuing to collaborate with PrideVMC in advancing the amazing work of the organization. We’ve still got work to do!”
